(More customer reviews)Seem like Sony has fixed most of the problems and bugs on the previous XA-110IP.I added this XA-120IP to my Sony CDX-F5700 radio and it works perfectly.I do not see any problems that reported on the XA-110IP.It keeps track and resumes to the last song when you turn power off/on. It also charges the ipod battery while it playing the music.
Only inconvenience thing I found is once plugged-in, the iPod screen will be disable and the radio display only one line of text. It's difficult to search through the album and playlist with only one line of text on the radio screen, unless you remember with what on your iPod.
I tried to plug-in the iPhone but it didn't work. However, it charged the iPhone battery.
Overall, I'm happy with it (for the price and the new features added to my old system). Only recommend for add-on to the existing radio. If you are looking to buy a new radio, you should buy an ipod ready radio (something like CDX-GT820IP) instead this adapter.
