(More customer reviews)Replaced factory 6x9's with these.They were just what I was missing.I have an Alpine CDA-9853 deck, Infinity Reference 6 1/2's in the back doors, and two 12 in Polk's driven by a Sony Xplod 800W amp.I listen to mostly rock so I am not the annoying bass guy you hate sitting next to at a stoplight.With that being said the Alpine 6x9's do a great job of producing crystal clear highs and solid midrange bass (but without my subs I wouldn't be happy).If you are looking for thump add a sub.If you are looking to improve on the quality of your sound (like me) I highly recommend these speakers.They sounds great loud too.My ears hurt before they distort.
