(More customer reviews)I bought this ipod integration kit for my 2005 acura TSX. installed it myself, which wasn't very difficult. had to remove the 1st storage compartment under the cd player, a few quick connects and done. my problem with the DICE is the sound quality. reading other reviews says that the sound is superb, i find this to be far from true. i ask anyone who has this unit installed to put in a cd, and switch from cd to ipod (which works through the xm function). if you cant tell a difference then maybe you need to turn up your hearing aid... to me the sound is god awful. and its not my speakers because i have very nice pioneers that sound amazing when playing a cd. it's also not the bitrate of the songs on the ipod either (i aint a noob -_-). there is crackling and just overall bad quality of sound coming from the DICE unit.
another problem is that it goes through the damn xm setting, which if you dont unplug the antennae (located under the carpeting in the trunk) you can still hear that 1 crappy free channel you get from xm. ON TOP OF THAT once you do unplug the antannae then your unit will read "antennae unplugged" and will interrupt the text of whatever you are listening to. really really annoying and i just figured id post something on here to make people away of what they are getting into.
